This group was formed thirty years ago by two grandmothers who felt led by the Lord to pray in a special way for their children
They felt that they should bring all the pain and the worries they had for their children to Him and to trust in His words ‘Ask and you will receive’.
Mothers’ Prayers is now an international ecumenical group, and we have had one here at St Edmund’s for several years.
We meet on the second and fourth Monday of every month after the 10 00 am Mass.
We keep to a simple format; we sing, we pray and we place the children into Jesus’ care and protection.
Our next prayer meeting is on Monday, 10 February.
