Twenty five years ago this Tuesday I was ordained to the priesthood of this archdiocese of Southwark by the late Bishop Charles Henderson RIP in Corpus Christi Church, Brixton Hill, just over two years after I had been received into full Communion with the Catholic Church. I have a lot to be thankful for.
There will be a Mass to mark this anniversary at 7pm. Ordinarily there would have been a parish party afterwards, but because of the current situation we can’t do this. For most of this twenty five years I have been at St Edmund’s (I arrived the following October); my family and I are very grateful for all the support, love and friendship we have had from so many of you.
