Today is the feast of ‘the Venerable Bede’ who has a good claim to be the father not only of English Church History but of English history, the eighth century monk who in his writings tells us so much about the Anglo Saxon Church.
As numbers at our two Masses on Sunday morning have been increasing it has been decided to restart the 8am Mass from next Sunday.
