Easter Day at St. Edmund’s

Masses at the usual times: 8.00 am, 9.30 am, 11.00 am, 5.30 am and 7.00 pm.

All offerings at these masses are for our priests. Would those who pay by standing order remember that their regular payment will go to the parish as a routine collection and will not be received by the priests. A special payment can be set up marked Easter Offering (this is then allocated to the collection for the priests) or you may prefer to make a plate donation (with your Gift Aid number on the envelope). The parish benefits from the Gift Aid on this collection which is usually our second highest of the year and so of great importance to our finances.
Your Easter offerings can also be made electronically here on our website: CLICK HERE and select Easter Offerings for our Priests.

A huge THANK YOU  to everyone who works behind the scenes to plan and organise our services at this time of year. It takes hours of planning and preparation to ensure everything is in place and that all will run smoothly. Thank you to our musicians and singers who add so much to our services, and of course thank you to each and every one of our altar servers, young and old who move so silently across the sanctuary to be where they need to be, when they should be.

THE SALESIAN SISTERS, Sr Mary, Sr Margaret and Sr Pat, at 25 Village Way, wish all the parishioners a very blessed Easter. May the Spirit of hope that Easter brings renew us all. Thank you for your continued support of our mission here making a home for our asylum seeker guests, currently Souzi and Antoinette.
The Lord is the reason for our joy. Alleluia!

Congratulations to the candidates and catechumens who were received into the Church at the Easter Vigil last evening. Welcome to our parish family!
