Our Christmas Masses take a great deal of organising to enable them to run smoothly.
There are many tasks that need to be done and our priests are always grateful for offers of assistance.
Once you have decided which Mass you will be attending why not contact one of the priests offering your assistance or go into the sacristy to sign up for a role.
We need:
- People to make sure the hymn sheets
- and missalettes are in the right place
- People to refill the stock of votive candles by the stands
- Welcomers – at least four for each Mass
- Readers
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
- Altar servers – some for every Mass
- Collectors – at least four for each Mass
- Families to take up the offertory.
- People to tidy the church after each Mass
