The SVP’s aim is to tackle poverty in all its forms through the provision of practical assistance to those in need. Our Beckenham branch gives assistance and help to people with a wide range of issues: homelessness, rent arrears, debt advice, loneliness, addiction, abuse ……. the list is long.
They also host a wonderful annual Christmas lunch for about eighty of our parishioners and this weekend will be serving refreshments to those attending our Mass of Anointing.
