Many thanks to those who have already contacted me. It promises to be a great event reflecting the diversity and vibrancy of our parish. Please contact me if you can read a bidding prayer in English and your own language or wish to help with the music. For the Mass we need youngsters to serve, and to volunteer to bring in flags and a symbol to represent their country e.g. a sombrero, artwork, pottery etc. It would be wonderful too, if as many as possible can wear national costume. Please bring a plate of food to the hall for the celebration afterwards.
The Mass will be offered as a Mass for Peace with Justice in the World: There is a music planning meeting on Friday 14 June at the Presbytery at 7.30 pm, or if you can’t attend, suggestions by email etc.
