Dear Fathers Steve, Andrew, and the Christian community of St Edmund’s parish, Beckenham,
I am so delighted to be “coming home” again, this time, not for a short-term supply but for a long-term placement. My pastoral experience in the parish in 2018 remains forever in my mind, and St Edmund’s remains indeed my second home. The hospitality, the family spirit and the generosity of the community that I experienced then, gives me the confidence that I shall live a good life in the community even now that I shall be with you. I am very much looking forward to sharing my pastor experience in Uganda with you, at the same time eager to learn from you.
I very strongly believe that when we co-operate and work together, we shall build the kingdom of God amidst us. May His will be done.
