The first Sunday of Advent this year falls on December 1st. It is the day the church begins its new year and is also the day we begin to use the new lectionaries about which you will read shortly.
So that we all are ready for this period of preparation before the birth of Christ, the many lovely items in our church shop that relate to Advent and Christmas will be brought into the Hall so that you can easily view them and purchase them.
There will be Advent candles and Advent calendars, Christmas candles and gifts.
There will also be Christmas cards for sale and catalogues from various charities which contain some wonderful ethical gifts.
Please do support our Church Shop by coming across to the Hall after the 8.00 am and the 9.30 am Masses to see what it has for you.
There will be refreshments as usual in the Hall that morning, so come over and catch up with your friends.
