As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW), St. Edmund’s Church will host a special Remembrance Tree from 9th to 15th October.
Now in its 22nd year, BLAW provides an opportunity for the baby loss community and others to come together to honour and remember the babies we have loved and lost. It is also a time to raise awareness of the profound impact of pregnancy and baby loss, the importance of bereavement support, and the ongoing work needed to improve pregnancy outcomes and save babies’ lives.
The loss of a baby or pregnancy is a heart-wrenching experience faced by families across the UK every day. During this meaningful week, we invite you to join us in remembrance by attaching a ribbon with your baby’s name to our Remembrance Tree. Pink, blue, and white ribbons will be available, and they will remain on display throughout the week as a tribute to all the babies we hold in our hearts.
