Last weekend the principal set of keys to the church was stolen from the sacristy. The police were informed and we were able to provide them with a clear image of the thief.
Every lock to the church, office and presbytery has had to be replaced. Anyone who has any key to these buildings is requested to return them. They are of no use to you now but we would like to keep them and the redundant locks in case they can be used in the future.
Please put any keys you are returning into an envelope clearly marked with your name and what lock the key is for, and post it through the Parish Office letterbox.
We are taking this opportunity to review who holds keys to parish property so there will be a delay in issuing keys to use in the new locks.
