The 5th Beckenham South Scouts will open their Scout Hut on Saturday the 12th of March between 10am and 3pm for receiving donations to help the Ukrainian refugee crisis in Poland and Eastern Europe. They are collecting items to be driven there through the efforts of the Lewisham Polish Centre.
Items on the requested list are:
- medicines and medical products
- emergency kits
- foil blankets
- baby food
- formula milk
- nappies
- sanitary products
- personal hygiene products
- torches
- disposable plates and utensils
- tin mugs
- work gloves
- latex gloves
- sleeping bags
- sleeping mats
If you can help with donations of these items only, (nearly new for many of the items would be just fine) then please bring them to their Scout Hut in the grounds of Bishop Challoner School, Bromley Road. Access is only via the pedestrian entrance on the corner of Scotts Avenue.
