Today is the feast of St Thomas Aquinas, patron saint of students. He once wrote that through the suffering and death of Jesus Christ ‘humanity knows from this how much God loves us; so that we are stirred by this to love him in return. This is the perfection of human salvation.’Please pray today particularly for students from our community here at St Edmund’s, most of whom have not been able to return to university or college since Christmas – and for their families and teachers; pray too for universities and Higher Education institutions.
