It was with great sadness that last October we stopped celebrating Mass for our young children and their parents in the Hall. Over the previous 18 months this Family Mass developed into a wonderful celebration with child appropriate readings and homilies and music. The numbers attending each week grew to about 140 which made it our best attended Mass. Now though we have a full complement of priests and I am delighted that we are in a position to resume this Mass.
After discussion with the Family Mass Team I have decided that every FIRST SUNDAY both Masses will join together in the church, but on all other Sundays the Family Mass will be in the Hall.
I look forward to welcoming our young families back to the Hall for their special Mass. Let’s see how we go. We will review this in the autumn.
