The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen’s event. It is run under the motto “Informed prayer and prayerful action” and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March.
Our service for this year’s World Day of Prayer will take place at St Edmund’s at 3.30 pm on Friday 1st March. The service this year has been prepared (many months before 7 October 2023) by the women of Palestine.
Please put the date in your diary and come along. As we are the hosts, it would be lovely to have a good representation from St Edmund’s parishioners.
