\"\" Fr Paul and I, Fr Brian, will be at your parish of St Edmund\u2019s to do the above appeal on the weekend of the 30th\/31st October. In the past – pre-Covid times – this would have been primarily a Red Box appeal. The Red Box helps communities to gather together to celebrate Mass and share their faith; it also trains missionaries to work alongside the poor or isolated communities, sharing with them Christ\u2019s love and compassion for all. It would be great if as many of you as possible who already have red boxes, can bring them along to the church on the weekend of the appeal. You can bring them along even if they are only half full! Or even to take home a Red Box, if you don\u2019t already have one.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are also aware that cash is being used less and less. Many people have asked how they can continue to support our global family without the coinsto put into their Red Box. These are some of the ways you can do so:<\/span><\/p>\n
