Across\u00a0London it is estimated that nearly 5,000 people slept\u00a0rough last year.\u00a0To help some of them during the winter months, a new\u00a0winter homeless shelter is opening close by on 30\u00a0December.<\/p>\n

If you can give a few hours of your time just once every\u00a0two weeks during the winter months, cooking a meal,\u00a0washing bed linen, or watching over our guests overnight,\u00a0come along to our Volunteer\u00a0 Information Meeting on\u00a0Saturday 3 November at 9.45 for a 10 am start at\u00a0Christ Church Beckenham<\/strong> to hear more and to sign up.<\/p>\n

Training will be given where necessary before the shelter\u00a0opens.<\/p>\n
