All our welcome to our Christmas Day Masses, as detailed on our home page.\u00a0<\/strong>Owing to the exceptional number of people normally attending our Christmas Vigil Mass<\/strong> at 6pm and Midnight Mass<\/strong>,\u00a0it will be possible to\u00a0administer Holy Communion only under the form of the host;\u00a0the chalice will not be available to the\u00a0congregation. The fullness of Christ, body and blood, soul\u00a0and divinity, is received under either kind.<\/p>\n

\"\"The offerings from all Christmas Masses are your personal\u00a0gift to our priests<\/strong> and are separate from any standing order or\u00a0regular giving you may have set up. Gift Aid can be claimed\u00a0on these Christmas offerings but is retained by the parish\u00a0itself – the priests do not benefit from this element.<\/p>\n

Much work goes on behind the\u00a0scenes and often I do not see the workers\u00a0to thank them for their efforts. Thank you\u00a0too to the \u2018front of house\u2019. Our MC’s and\u00a0altar servers, choirs and musicians,\u00a0readers and Extraordinary Ministers of\u00a0Communion, crowd control, sacristans,\u00a0brass cleaners and flower team. We are\u00a0truly blessed by those who give their time\u00a0so generously<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
